Crowded Field of ICC Approved Fire Resistant Deck Coatings Becomes More Crowded

Browsing through the ICC list of tested and approved deck coatings, the addition of Londeck Fire Retardant Roof and Walking Deck as an approved product caught my eye...
so I looked it up and found a Japanese company, Lonseal Inc. with a vinyl type coating that utilizes cement underlayment to help it achieve fire resistance.
I've requested literature and samples from their US based division in Carson CA.
We'll report more on the product once we receive their samples and booklet.
In the meantime, take a look at the ICC reports on file at ICC's website by clicking our headline above...
Or click here to go to Lonseal's website

WHAT MAKES YOU AN EXPERT? LOT'S OF US HAVE BEEN SPECIFYING & INSTALLING FOR A LONG TIME.
BY THE WAY, WITH ALL THIS COMPUTER TIME ON YOUR HANDS, WHO'S INSTALLING FOR YOU? NOT EMPLOYEES I ASSUME AS YOU HAVE NO WORKERS COMP. INSURANCE, YET YOU ARE THE GIVER OF ADVICE!!!!

Hey Real spec guy,
I'd have to ask you the same question, what makes you an expert as a "real spec guy"? I guess like you I've been specifying and installing for a "long time".
FYI, I have my own small company, just me doing the work, no employees. I also sell jobs through a company whose owner is a good friend of mine, big jobs that would make ya jealous. Most of my computer time is used to write proposals that is taking work away from you.
You should find the courage to post your name on your comments, hiding behind aliases is lame.

Been spec'ing as long as your partner -in-crime DiBaggio.
Plenty of big jobs being done as well.No need for your "expertise".

let's see, what qualifies me more than you....
worked for a major manufacturer for 14 years & 7 months.
how long you been doing this other than being a "typical" p.m. rep?

Again I repeat, don't hide behind pseudonyms and aliases when your smack talking...it shows a distinct lack of COURAGE. You are like one of those wimpy kids on the playground who talk smack about other people, yet run and hide when it comes to standing up...

My condolences that your stuck in a job where your employer rewards you with a paycheck and a few perks...I'm making my own way and rely on no one but myself.

Again, your jealousy is giving you away.

ON THE CONTRARY MY FAKE FRIEND. WE ARE INSTALLERS WITH W.C. & HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR SOME 30 YEARS, BEFORE YOU EVEN KNEW ONE END OF A BRUSH FROM THE OTHER!!!
NO PAYCHECK OR PERKS MY FRIEND, JUST REWARDS AS A FELLOW BUSINESS OWNER!!!!!!!

So I guess that the W.C. is short code maybe for Westcoat? You should be doing this instead of me...you want to take over here? I'll give you my info and you can become the deck expert...cause i'm in awe of you now.

FYI, that was sarcasm; if your with w.c., then you'd be the last ones entitled to stand up on a pulpit and point fingers at anyone.

So why don't you pony up the courage to say who you are and dispense with the bs hide n seek game. Then we can engage in real discourse, regarding the issues in this industry...like unethical repackagers who masquerade as manufacturer's and what to do about them...like those repackager's whose initials are....w.c.s.c.
hey did you see our new video with the recorded message left by a telephone caller?
Happy Sunday.

THE W.C. IS WORKER'S COMP.

Unknown said...

Hey Anonymous,
workers comp-is that hard to get? You act like it's something of a big deal. Well it is if you have employees. I don't so I don't have to pay it.
Your posts are absolutely boring, nothing to say expect to shoot barbs that don't stick, and you get no respect because your lack of courage is holding you back. If you really want progress, you'll back up your words with a name. Of course, you must know by now that if and when you do, I'll be checking your company over quite thoroughly, and I'm sure we'll find a few skellys in the closet huh?

We have the product Lonseal on a floor of an upper patio that was installed 12 years ago. We live in the midwest, Illinois, with hard winters and summers. This product has held up very well but in the last 8 weeks, we were hit with a storm that dropped a tree onto this patio and needs to be replaced.
Is there a newer product out that would be better to replace this with?
Thanks in advance for any advise.
